Studio Rules:

Please bring a clean, dry pair of shoes with you to class. Don't wear the ones you just wore outside.
You must register in advance for the classes. Class size is limited.

About Above the Barre:

Above the Barre offers a variety of dance classes with certified instructors for preschoolers through adult. They offer lessons for the recreational dancer but also provide an intensive training program.

Dancing Wheels

3rd floor of the Masonic Temple

Notes on the location and parking:

Free parking is available on E36th street next to the Masonic Temple. It is only legal to park on the side of the road closest to the Temple, and please pay attention to posted signs regarding where parking is legal
There is a parking lot adjacent to the Temple. The entrance to the lot is on Euclid, just east of the building. It costs $2 in quarters (or a token purchased at the front desk) to exit the lot.
The Euclid Corridor Project has had a huge impact on Euclid Ave. Don't plan on parking on Euclid, and you may need to leave a little extra time for driving to the Temple and finding parking.

Studio Rules:

Please sign in at the front desk in the lobby when you arrive.
Remember to sign out at the front desk when you leave after class.
Street shoes are not permitted in the Dancing Wheels studios. You can wear dance shoes, socks, certain shoes that have never been worn outside (not gym shoes, hiking shoes/boots, or very thin heels), or your bare feet.

About Dancing Wheels:

Dancing Wheels is a professional modern (contemporary) dance company integrating sit-down (i.e. wheelchair) and stand-up dancers. In addition to performing around the world, Dancing Wheels offers lecture/demonstrations across the country. Moreover, the School of Dancing Wheels offers integrated dance classes for children and adults. When their studios aren't in use, Dancing Wheels rents them to others such as ourselves.

Prana Yoga and Dance Studio

The dance studio is set back from the road.

Free parking is available in the lot just in front of the studio.

You will need to walk around to the back of the building to enter the dance studio.

About Prana Yoga and Dance

Prana Yoga and Dance Studio offers yoga and dance classes for children and adults. They have an amazing variety in the classes they offer beyond ballroom. If there is enough interest in classes or workshops at Prana, we will try to schedule them again.
